Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM and Federal
Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the
advent of a revolution in Pakistan cannot be stopped. Change in the
country is the need of the hour but the change should be on permanent
basis.
He was addressing a large public gathering in Jahaniyan in southern Punjab. A large number of people living in
Jahaniyan and the adjoining areas had come to attend the MQM public
meeting. Members of the Co-ordination Committee Wasay Jalil, Iftikhar
Akbar Randhawa, In-charge MQM Multan Zone Mr Khalid Jawed and other
local officials were also present on the occasion.
Dr Sattar said that the rulers belonging to the feudal class had not been able to solve problems being faced by the people for the past 65 years. It was the need of the hour to decide if Pakistan has to be saved or allowed to fall apart at the hands of the feudal elements.
